More October snow!

Not much needs to be said here other than we got less than what they had forecast. I will take that as a good thing!

A couple more funnies...

This is a "no photo" post. There were just a couple things Mackenzie said in the last couple of days that were waaaay too funny not to share!

"Daddy, we are going to fight like elks." She proceeded to headbutt Byron in the gut!

Said to Mackenzie:
"You have issues!"
Her response:
"I don't need any tissues!"

Just things that make me smile...especially when she is being a stinker!

Off to the Pumpkin Patch!

Last weekend, after many e-mails and discussions, we got together with the Kinley's, McCrea's and Hilton's at a pumkin patch in Longmont. It was a GORGEOUS day! We had initially planned on going the week before but it was cold and yucky. I'm so glad we waited! It was 80 degrees and lovely, in my opinion!

My Princess

Mackenzie's latest obsession is princesses and the color purple. Today, the lady at the child care for the gym (I signed up for the gym but that's a story for other day) told me that Mackenzie was very excited to find a book about princesses in the stack of books that were there. However she was very concerned that there was no purple on the cover, only pink! Made me laugh. I bought this purple princess dress for her about a month ago but put in the closet for a rainy day. It wasn't raining today, but I pulled it out. Mackenzie LOVES it! I had to take some pictures although her hair looks a little scary! I'm also a little afraid that she will never take it off!!

Casting Crowns

Sara, Lynda and I went to this awesome concert in Denver last week. It was Casting Crowns with Matt Redman. It was so great. The only picture I didn't get was one of the 3 of us!! My attempt failed when the lights went down after intermission. Oh well!!

Beautiful Days

Last week, Emily and I had the chance to get out on horseback 3 different days! It was awesome! The days were pleasant and the scenery is as beautiful as always.

Pretty nice view of Meeker in the background. These 2 pics are at the end of a morning of fun riding, bushwhacking, and chasing cows. It was an experience! I'm not sure I would ever make a good rancher!

Lena, Issac and Mackenzie were out enjoying one of the few nice days we've had in the last couple of weeks. This was the last week of September and apparantly a good time to make some mud pie!!
