A Visit With Emma

We had a very nice visit with our friends Matt, Tanya and Emma. Matt lived out in Colorado for awhile before he was married but is now in PA with his beautiful family!

The daddies went out for a couple of minutes and the girls were very distressed!! The mamas were just not good enough!

Matt and Kenzie

Byron and Emma-it was unbelievable how fast Emma warmed up to Byron and she loved him! She was in his lap within minutes. It was adorable!

Doesn't it look like those 2 were up to something? And I'm not talking about the kids either!

Pink Lady

All girl...what else can I say? Mackenzie loves her pink (although lately, I think purple has been winning out). Already, I don't remember where the pink daisies came from but Mackenzie insisted that I put them in her hair and she does look pretty darn cute!

Having a serious discussion with Gram...

Go, go, go...she rarely slowed down the whole time we were there.

Rock Band

So this was pretty comical...Jason has the "Rock Band" video game which is along the same lines as "Guitar Hero" except 4 people make up the band in this game. We had a fun time but I'm not sure we should ever let Pap sing again!

Feeding the Fish

You know that if you ever try to get ahold of Pap on a Tuesday after work, you most likely won't because he will be at the trout nursery feeding the fish! The fish get fed twice a day and Tuesday afternoon is Pap and Bob's shift. The fish are kept here and "grown up" and then are released into local creeks each spring. Mackenzie was happy to help out with the feeding this time.

Pretty PA

First Night in PA

Swinging with Gram...who do you think might be the happiest out of these 3? :)

Gram made chocolate cake with peanut butter icing and Mackenzie was sure to be the first in line!

Getting in a little batting practice. Only in Williamsport, PA, home of the Little League World Series.

Pap getting in on a little of the action. I think he was feeling it the next day even with plastic bats and duct-taped wiffle balls.

On the Road Again...

...or should I say "in the air". I really can't count how many airplanes Mackenzie has been on in her short life but it's a lot! She's getting to be a real pro. We went to Pennsylvania in May to visit Byron's family. I took these pictures on our way out...we had been up since 3:30am in these pictures. Mackenzie managed real well. The 4 hour layover in Philadelphia was a little much but we made it!
