Christmas 2010

Christmas jammies!

Santa dropped in and brought a few things...

Getting excited...

Santa came through.

I have to say thing is one of the more annoying gifts!! Sorry gram!! :o) It's one of those, don't-you-wish-it-had-an-off-switch, deals. But Kenzie loves it so gram scores big!

Taylor trying her hand at gifts...

...and deciding it's just easier to eat them.

Baby's first Christmas!

Baby in a box~best gift ever!

Our Ranch Family

So, for those of you who don't know, we have 3 sets of great friends that work at Wind River Ranch just outside of Estes Park. It is a Christian family Dude Ranch and is a wonderful place. If you are ever looking for a relaxing vacation in a beautiful place, this is it. All of our friends there have recently had a new baby. So here is the whole crew!

Mackenzie (4) is the oldest of the 4 kids you see here. Next to her is Isaac (3 1/2), then Lena (almost 3) and then Levi (2). On each of their laps are their siblings, all born within the last 9 months. The siblings from left to right are Taylor (July), Raynata (August), Cason (October) and Wren (April). We were so excited to get this picture because no one is crying and everyone sat still for at least a minute while we were all hooting and hollering to try to get them to smile and look at the camera. I guess we did ok!

Ghetto Christmas Tree

Byron putting the lights on the tree. I say it's ghetto because it's cut straight out of the woods and it is not the "pretty" kind you would find at the tree lot. But, it's free and it's ours so that's all that matters!

Taylor supervising the whole tree thing...

Mackenize making sure the tree has enough to drink.

The tree looks better with the poor lighting. :o)

Preschool Christmas Program

Mackenzie's preschool put on a Christmas program and it was fantastic! All the kids in the preschool participated~ages 2 1/2 through 5. Some children had memorized different things and they all sang a nunmber of songs. They did such a great job and I know all the parents were very proud.

Mackenzie getting ready for the program.

Ready to go!
Ready to get into her "Mary" costume.

Mackenzie saying her lines as "Mary"..."I brought forth my firstborn son and wrapped in swaddling clothes. I laid Him in a manger because there was no room in the inn." I was so proud of her and was near tears. (And I had my camera on the wrong setting so this is a HORRIBLE picture! :( )

Taylor checked out about 10 mins in.

Even Santa stopped in for a visit.
