So many things happen every day and this is a way to share some of that "stuff" with you!

Wacky Wednesday
Wacky Wednesday was a day at preschool where things were...wacky! The kids got to dress silly and there were all kinds of wacky things at school. Step one was getting dressed in the morning. We went for the hooded shirt...backwards. Leg warmers. Slippers. Tutu...this was really funny because all 6 girls in Mackenzie's class wore their tutus.
Then there was the hair. This is when it's fun to have lots of hair. So we had 5 ponytails with the middle one being a braid. It was pretty funny.
Stuck
The weekend after we moved we got dumped on! It started snowing Thursday night and didn't stop until mid morning on Saturday. It was pretty and really wet! I tried getting out of the driveway Saturday morning and it wasn't happening. Because the snow was so wet, my car would only slide sideways rather than go forward. And sliding sideways in the mountains is never a good thing. Byron had to get me unstuck. So, I stayed home.

Moving Day!
We really could not have asked for a better day to move. The weather was beautiful and things went very smoothly~for the most part! A thousand thank you's to Lynda and Emily who took our kids for most of the day and to Rob and Nick who helped with all the heavy lifting and shoving of things through the door. :)
Living Room
Kitchen (with stove in the box)
Taylor's room although not necessarily all her stuff!

Mackenzie's room with only half her stuff!
Our room which kind of acted as overflow for whatever (and some of it is still there!)

The most entertaining part of the day (for me, a little stressful to watch) was trying to get the refridgerator through the front door. Basically the door was too small. Or maybe the fridge was too big. This was the first failed attempt. Notice the draped blanket in an attempt to keep the fridge from getting dinged up.

T-R-O-U-B-L-E
While the guys were painting, the gals had kid duty. We were going to try and get some cleaning done but the water wasn't on yet and there were 3 babies to hold! There really wasn't much space to let the babies roam (not that were roaming much yet anyway) but the older kids had plenty of fun running around and checking stuff out.
They sure are cute but you never know what they are up to!! I titled this post based on this picture!

Real Men Paint Pink
So, we closed on our new house on January 31. Before we moved in there were a number of things we wanted to do, especially since there was no pressure to move out of our apartment. One of those things was a whole lot of painting. Byron was a painting machine. He managed to get done Taylor's room (I helped a little), Mackenzie's room, both bathrooms, downstairs family room and most of the great room ceiling. Of course that still leaves the kitchen, hallway, entryway, and our room but who's counting.
We spent a day at the house the weekend before we moved in and had a little help from our friends. It really was priceless to see 3 grown men painting a little girls room pink. So I took a few pictures of Byron, Don, and Nick. Of course no one's looking at the camera!

Too Cute !
This was too cute to pass up. I think I was in the kitchen doing a couple things while Taylor and Mackenzie were in the living room (this is at the old apartment, by the way). When I peeked in on them, Taylor had the straps of Mackenzie's little purse around her legs. It was really funny. She was actually wrestling with it pretty good which is why things are a little fuzzy. Don't ask me why she has no clothes on in the middle of winter...

Do What You Gotta Do...
Wow!
So, I didn't realize how long it has been since I did a blog. Actually, it's been about a month but I'm about 2 months behind in pictures! I think part of my problem is that the computer takes awhile to upload pictures and so I don't feel like I have the time to do it! I'll try and catch up over the next few days since there are plenty of "blog-worthy" things to talk about! :)
So here are my girls! Growing and changing every day! I did the one thing I never thought I would do as the mother of 2 girls. I bought them matching dresses. I know, I know...but it's so cute. I just wasn't going to do it. And then I did! So here they are. I tried to take individual pictures and pictures of them together. It was pretty funny,
