We missed "the sign" the first day we went to the park so we made sure we stopped this time. Actually, the day before there were a ton of people there and we didn't want to wait. Although you would never had known that if I didn't mention it! :)
Part of the park road that runs along the South Rim of the canyon is designated for busses only (and cyclists from what I hear). So we took the bus loop and found some more stunning views.
This was a cool sign that was posted on a column of a place called Hermit's Rest. It was at the end of the bus line. I didn't read up on the history of it but it was a pretty neat place.

This last picture was out the window of the car on the way out of the north entrance to the park. I just couldn't bring myself to get out and Mackenzie was in the back sleeping so we just did a drive-by!
